Terms of Service

The service

MyScribe uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized messages based on the details you provide. You preview the opening of your message for free, then choose a length and pay once for the full draft. The full message is generated after payment is confirmed when you return from checkout. Word counts are approximate. We do not require an account or a subscription.

Generated content is provided "as is"

Messages are generated by an AI model and are provided for your convenience without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing any message before you use it and for deciding whether it is suitable for your purpose. Do not rely on it for any purpose where an error could cause harm or loss.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, deceptive, or that infringes the rights of others, and not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the Service or its safeguards. We may decline or block requests that violate these terms.

Ownership of your message

Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may copy, edit, and use the message you purchase for personal or business purposes. AI-generated wording may not be unique, and we do not guarantee that it qualifies for copyright protection. The Service itself, including its design, code, and trademarks, remains the property of MyScribe. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.

Payment and refunds

Each message is a one-time charge in U.S. dollars, processed by Stripe. You see the price before you pay. There are no recurring charges. The full draft is generated for your order, so purchases are generally final, except where a refund or another remedy is required by applicable law.

If payment succeeds but you cannot access your message, or something else goes wrong with the order, email support@myscribe.net with your receipt or payment reference. Do not send your card details or pay again for the same message while the issue is being resolved. We will review the problem and help resolve it.

Receiving and keeping your message

After checkout, return to MyScribe in the same browser and allow the full message to finish generating. We display it on the page and send a copy to the email address supplied at checkout. Email can be delayed or filtered into spam; a delivery problem does not mean your payment failed.

Copy or save your finished message. MyScribe does not provide an account or a permanent message library. Your draft and result are available only within your writing session, which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or when the application restarts.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee any level of uptime or availability. We may change, limit, add, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyScribe is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the message giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MyScribe harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these terms.

Applicable law and your rights

These terms and any dispute relating to the Service are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
